The Artificer’s Fey Workshop

New map I’m pretty happy with, although the context is pretty specific –

“Long abandoned and forgotten, these workshops housed a once great forge capable of extravagant arcane feats.

Though the master artisan’s secrets were lost, their workshop may still retain some clues to their specialization. Their curious interest in the fey magics in particular led to an interest in unique plant life and unpredictable magic.

A secret passage leads to a dank cavern, housing a secret geothermal hot springs that provides the perfect hot and wet temperature for growing special fey flora.”

Intended for a 40×30 grid.

Cave Passageway Maps

A two map post – narrow passageways in a cavern.

The village’s water well seems to have a long forgotten secret. Where does it? Who knows! Seems like a nice spot for an ambush though. Intended for a 19×25 grid.

A path of stairs going deep into the darkness, complete with a bottomless* ledge for adventurers to fall off. Quick and simple map for pit dropping shenanigans. Intended for a 19×19 grid.

The Fey Hoarder’s Lair

Trying to catch up on posts for my maps, I don’t have a lot but hopefully they’re nice or at least useful!

The cavernous lair of a fey creature known for stealing knick-knacks and baubles. Most of its hoard may be useless junk, but many adventurers have met their end hoping to find elusive treasure buried within the piles of garbage.

Intended for a 30×40 grid.

Winter Themed Maps

Another image dump of maps for my campaign, which is now in the winter season. There’s been a lot of travelling in the game itself, so a lot of the maps have been on or just off the roads.

A monster’s lair in a hot springs cave.
An abandoned cabin off the side of the road.
An edit of the previous map to just be the forest and road.
A wagon attacked on the road.
A town marketplace in the winter time
The same map, but at night time.

Mapmaking Catchup

Work has been busy lately, so I’ve had a backlog on maps and tabletop RPG content I haven’t been able to post or work on. Because I’m not 100% sure the direction I want to take the campaign after the hiatus, I’ve kind of been working on some more generic and reusable play maps. It’s not everything I’ve done, but here’s some of my favorites:

A small town jail, with one fancy cell for a special prisoner…

A fork in the road, with a dramatic rock formation

A redo of an old map I made. I updated some of the stamps and shading

Another redo of an older map I had made. I added some lighting for the campfire to make it a bit more dynamic.
